Joining us and the Mermaids for Conservation in Cozumel means you are helping a worldwide movement to create balance between humanity and the ocean. Now more than ever we can unite to make a difference, and embrace the link we have between terrestrial and aquatic beings.
During this week, you will truly connect with your love of water, sea, and the energy of earth on this magical island of mermaids. In crystal clear caribbean waters we will indulge in relaxation island-mermaid style, play mermaid games, snorkel and freedive the reef, swim in a mermaid’s heaven, and explore the depths of the ocean in a real submarine!

***Flight Note: If anyone is opting in for whale sharks, best to leave out of Cancun as it is an easy 1 hour-ish commute to the airport from Isla Mujeres (ferry over to mainland on Ultra Mar, then taxi to airport)
❗️ Make sure it is not an early departure from Cancun as the earliest ferry crossing is at 6 AM !

Where we swim:
While staying at the resort, there is beach access through a tunnel that takes you directly to the beach. You can also enjoy a variety of other local attractions with the MerWeek package including multiple beaches and a visit to Chankanaab National Reef Marine Park.
What to bring:
**International Travel requires a Passport. Apply for your Passport. Passport processing can take time; apply at least 3 months in advance.

We will provide meeting times and dive site briefings, and will use dive flags and open water procedures to ensure divers and mermaids safety while in the water. Diving and Mermaid Swimming is only advisable within the buoyed zone of the dive areas. We will guide you for safety!
